NNPP gets new leadership in Plateau, vows to take over power
The Plateau state chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) elected it new officials Thursday, through a congress.
Aliyu Mohammad Abdullahi emerged state chiarman of the party, Engr Emmanuel Shom, Secretary, Mrs Sarah Luka Gokas was elected Woman leader, while Sani Abdul was made Publicity Secretary of the party, a total of 27 officials were elected for a tenure of four years.
All the officials were emgered through affirmation order, because they were unopposed.
Two national officials of the party witness the congress, the event was rancor free, and peaceful.
The Chairman of the party Aliyu Mohammad Abdullahi, however vowed that the party is ready to unseat the All Progress Congresses (APC) in the forthcoming general elections come 2019, saying that Nigeria is in a state of collapse if nothing is done to rescue the country.
Consequently one of the national officials of the party who witnessed the congress, Sir. Mark Usman, appealed to party officials and members to work in harmony to dominate the political atmosphere aimed at taking over power from the already failed government.
