The New Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly and Member representing Jos East Constituency, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day being observed today 12th June, 2019.

He said the wish and trust of legislation bestowed on the 9th Assembly shall be the reflection of the wishes of the People and entrenching the common heritage of the Plateau while promised to make service and unity priorities.

Democracy Day Message

I wish to felicitate with the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, the President of the senate, His Excellency Senator Ahmed Lawan, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabamila, our mentor and dependable leader, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong, Hounarable Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, my great constituents of Jos-East Local government, my peace loving and hospitable people of Plateau State and fellow citizens of Nigeria on the occasion of democracy day celebration.

The task and trust of legislation bestowed on the 9th Assembly shall be a reflection of the wishes of the People and entrenching the common heritage of the Plateau.

As we celebrate the maiden June 12th Democracy Day, may our resolve and pledge to serve, unite and uphold the honour and glory of our country be our priority always.

Let us all commit prayer and patriotic work at seeing the labour of our heroes never ebbs in vain.

I urge all citizens to contribute to the sustainance of democracy in Nigeria and make our country great that we all may be proud of.
