Thousands of Women known as Women for Gagdi Support Movement have pledged their massive support for the 2023 reelection of the Member Representing Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi for his outstanding performance.

The Women’s group which cut across Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam both Christians and Muslims led by its Convener Zakiya Usman Zumunta made their pledge during an interface with the Lawmaker at the PankshinYouth Centre on Saturday.

The Women Convener described Hon. Gagdi is an astute politician who has impacted the lives of his constituents comprising Women, Youths, and visible projects in all three Local governments, and needs to be reelected to continue with his massive work.

She expressed the commitment of the women to go into all the wards and Polling units to ensure and stand for the reelection of Hon. Gagdi, says women are now a strong voice in politics both in the state and Local Governments.

“We the Women for Hon. Gagdi has invited him for an interactive discussion and he responds to our invitation which means he has a plan for women if voted in.

“We should prepare our voters’ cards as that is the only instrument to make our favorite Candidate and party APC win in 2023.”

The Women Coordinators for Gagdi in Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Mrs. Bridget Tungkuda, Mrs. Ann Suwa Dimka, and Mrs. Dammai Simon Bapiyim respectively all pledge their support for the reelection of Hon. Gagdi in their various Local government, saying he has done impressively well for the Federal constituency.

They mentioned some of the Lawmaker achievements including employment for the Women and Youths, empowerment, drilling of boreholes, construction of Hospitals, and schools, payments of WAEC and NECO registration of Secondary school students from PKK, and recently his efforts to upgrade the Federal College of Education Pankshin to the Status Federal University of Education amongst other projects.

A Keynote Speaker during the interface Miss Yonpan Dariyem Abdullahi emphasized the importance of women in the socio-political activities of any nation, saying they played critical roles in development.

She urged women generally to support candidates that have impacted the lives of women while in office.

On his Part the Director General of the Plateau State Contributory Health Care Management Agency PLASCHEMA Dr. Fabong Jemchang described Hon. Gaudi is a vibrant Youth and Lawmakers that has made Plateau proud in the National Assembly.

He encouraged the Women and the People of Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam to ensure the reelection of Hon. Gagdi, saying rejected Gagdi is reelecting development and more dividends of democracy.

While responding to the support of the Women Member Representing Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency and the 2023 PKK APC House of Representatives Candidate Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi appreciated the organizers of the interface and commended the commitment of the women for their support towards ensuring his reelected back to the National Assembly.

Gagdi who is the House Committee Chairman on the Navy said when it came to the performance women stood out and that anyone would be taking them for granted at a peril.

He emphasized that women would be highly integrated into his campaign council, saying already he has completed plans to empower his constituents and Majority of the beneficiaries will be Women.

He promises that when reelected into office in 2023, his representation will add more value for Women and Youth for the development of the Constituency.

Hon. Gagdi however donated three cars to assist the movement of the Women for his election.
