The prompt visit of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar the PDP Presidential candidate in the 2023 elections to empathise with the people of Plateau State over the loss of lives of young men to a tragic truck accident after the PDP Zonal Rally at Pankshin on Saturday 04/01/23 has been described by Senator I. D. Gyang as statesmanly and exemplary.

The Senator says the action was not only very comforting to the immediate families and people of Plateau State but a demonstration of empathetic leadership.

Senator Gyang added that both life and death are a mystery as no one ever contemplated that later same day, 13 of our young men who arrived Pankshin in jubilant mood of celebration would be victims of death and many more left with broken limbs and varying injuries now receiving medical attention in various hospitals.

Our hearts and prayers are with the immediate families, the lager PDP family and the nation at large.
