NORTHERN GOVERNORS FELICITATE WITH SENATOR KASHIM SHETTIMA AT 54

The Northern Governors Forum is felicitating with its immediate past Chairman, Senator Kashim Shettima as he turns 54 years.

In a message to congratulate the Former Borno State Governor, Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong described Senator Shettima as a pragmatic leader who has continued to serve the nation diligently.

Lalong said “we celebrate you today and recall your excellent leadership of the Northern Governors Forum which enhanced unity, fight against insecurity, agricultural development and diversification of the region’s economy. You have continued to pursue these ideals in the national assembly serving not only the people of your constituency, but Borno State and the nation as a whole”.

Governor Lalong wishes Senator Shettima well in all his endeavours and urges him to continue to offer his wealth of knowledge and support to the Northern Governors Forum as it works to tackle the challenges of the region.
