In order to achieve his aspiration of providing sound and unequalled legislative representation to the Citizens of Zawan ‘B’ Ward Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hon. Alex Isaac Dagul on Tuesday 23rd July, 2024 has obtained the PDP Councillorship Nomination and Declaration of Interest Forms at the Plateau State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat situated at Yakubu Gowon Way Jos.

Alex Isaac, a businessman who was accompanied by his Friends, political allies and Supporters disclosed that what informed his intention to contest for the Councillorship Seat is to provide good governance to the People at the Grassroot.
He said the People of Zawan ‘B’ being a cosmopolitan Ward are yearning for purposeful leadership and transformation.

He said “The People of Zawan B Ward have started reaping the dividends of democracy from the present administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang. We have seen the construction of the Road that links Sparkling Junction to the Zarmaganda to Rayfield Road through Europharm. This has significantly reduced the hardships being faced by our People due to the previous dilapidated road that was not given the needed attention by the immediate past administration though with budgetary provision made in 2016 and 2017.
He lauded the Infrastructural development and other people-oriented policies and programmes being implemented by the present administration in Plateau State.

According to him, he will focus on education, agriculture and human capital development through skill acquisition and support to Micro businesses when elected to office. He promised to make laws that will have direct impact on the People and the Ward as well as carry out oversight function for the common good of the Local Government Area if elected.

He said the Ward is in dire need of someone with better comprehension of the challenges being faced by the People and able to solve same.

“I have been with the People and I understand their challenges, I am committed to ensuring that those challenges within my abilities will be address squarely while those that require lobbying I will escalate to the appropriate authorities or other levels of government for the needed interventions.
Politics is about the People, it is about knowing their need/challenges and making concerted efforts to address them. My vision is to ensure that democratic dividends are brought to the doorsteps of the People and I am ready to serve the People meticulously and with uncompromising integrity by ensuring that their welfare is my priority”
