UniJos Senate Direct Students (Foreign Students excluded) to Vacate School Hostels for Christmas Break

The management of University of Jos has directed its Students residing in the Institution’s Hostels to vacate for the Christmas Break and also to resume after the Academic Staff Unions of University (ASUU) industrial action is resolved.

This directive came from the Registrar and Senate Secretary Mr. Monday M. Danjem.

The directive however exempted foreign students residing in the Hostels.

ANNOUNCEMENT

SENATE DIRECTS STUDENTS IN HOSTELS TO PROCEED ON CHRISTMAS BREAK

This is to inform all Students of the University of Jos that Senate has directed all Students with the exception of foreign Students residing in the various Hostels of the University to proceed on Christmas break immediately.

In view of the above, all Students still in Hostels with the exception of foreign Students are to vacate the Hostels and proceed on Christmas break with immediate effect, until the Industrial Action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is called off.

All affected Students are to note and strictly comply with this directive.
