Two Killed in Killer Herdsmen Ambush in Adu Village Kwall District Bassa LGA, Plateau State

Viewpoint Nigeria has confirmed the killing of two persons in an ambush by Killer Herdsmen in Adu Village of Kwall District Bassa LGA, Plateau State on Sunday 2nd September, 2018.

The attack occurred around 10pm and those attacked were on their way home from Kwall, the District Headquarters.

Those ambushed and killed were Mr. Monday Ariki who died instantly and Mr. Likita Tsi who later died this morning at about 3:30am while receiving treatment in Enos Hospital Miango, Bassa LGA.

Mr. Lawrence Zongo, Spokesperson of Miango Youth Development Association condemned killing, calling it genocides and ethnic cleansing aimed to grasp the ancestral lands of the natives.

He said in less than a week six persons in the same District had their farm produce almost due for harvest mowed down by the attackers who also graze on the farmlands indiscriminately without being arrested, action he termed evil and inhuman.

“So far, we lost 27 of our people in ambush attacks from April to September, 2018” he said.

“The fulani herdsmen killers have changed their method of killings & adopts ambushing of our youth targeting them when going back home or going to farm. So far we lost 27 of our people in an ambush attacks from April to September.” Lawrence posited.

Not upto a week fulani destroyed farms produce of six people in the same district almost due for harvest after cutting it put in their cows to graze inside the farm. This is evil & inhuman. We are calling on the arrest of Ardo Wada Adamu & Adamu Mua’azu they are the leaders of this fulani killers also the Arrest of MYETTI Allah leaders of Plateau state. Please Justice should be put in place enough to the unlawfull killings of innocent citizens” he concluded.
