Tudun Wada Youth leaders forum have commended the construction company handling the construction of roads in the community Jolex company Nigeria limited for the level of road construction work ongoing in the community.

The group in a statement jointly signed by Nansak Morris the chairman, Emmauel Alime, the Secretary and Zakaria Nanpyal for patron also lauded the construction company for contributing it’s quota in community development programmes

We must commend Jolex construction company for employment and prompt payment of labourers in the community and for payment for relocation of pipes along Tudun Wada park and also funding for court cases involving child molestation and also for support for security outfit in the community

They group also  discredit the statement presented by a group Plateau Progressive Youths for Transparency dated on the 5th of February 2018 labeled against Jolex construction company.

It reads that “we were shocked to see the allegations labeled against Jolex

We have been monitoring the activities of the company with sincere interest because it is one of the best thing

has happened  to our community.

On the commencement of work after Jolex construction company was given the contract to construct our roads, they summoned the leadership of Tudun Wada and requested for manpower of the first badge of workers which were agreed by the district head of Tudun Wada, over 30workers were employed including labourers, welder ,mason and Carpenters so this has demonstrated global best practices for contract awarded to any company and has enhanced our collaboration with the company.

Gov Lalong has visited the site twice and is impressed by the level of work and the turn out of workers on site as the company works every day except Sundays, it is unfortunate that the ground claimed that 600 million Naira was given for compensation to houses affected by the ongoing construction work, but from our findings from the ministry of housing and urban development ,no penny has been made in that regard, even though government is making frantic effort to pay compensation to houses affected so that it would hastened the level of work on the site,.

We are calling on Plateau state  government to disregard the press statement by the faceless group and continue with the good work it’s doing in Plateau.
