Report reaching Viewpoint Nigeria has it that there are sporadic gunshots ongoing in Dong, Jos North LGA, Plateau State.

The attack according to people of Dong is from Suspected Fulani Herdsmen.

It could be recalled that Dong Kassa and Rafiki Villages in Jos North and Bassa LGA respectively were simultaneously attacked last week leading to the burning of a Church and lost of over 10 lives including security personnel.

Residents of Federal and Rantya State Lowcost Housing Estate Jos said they can hear the sounds of gunshots emanating from Dong.

No report of casualty was recorded at the time of filing this report.
