The PDP Chairmanship Candidate in Jos South, Rwas Solomon Emmanuel Dung popularly known as ‘Gibok’ has appreciated his teeming supporters for their patience, resilience and unwavering supports while awaiting the conduct of the Local Government Elections which should have held on 17th February, 2018 but was postponed by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission for security concerns.

He said this while interacting with Viewpoint Nigeria in his house.

Rwas Gibok said he is surprised at the level of solidarity and unalloyed supports the people are according him.

“I am overwhelmed by the massive supports being accorded me by the masses despite the postponement of the Local Government Elections, this is an attestation and endorsement of our victory anytime the elections are conducted” “I am very optimistic of victory anytime elections are conducted” he said.

“The people have been calling and appreciating me for my patience and for impacting the society and humanity, I really want to thank them”
“I don’t have their phone numbers as it is impossible to have them all but I will continue to pray for them and wish them the very best”

“My supporters have been wonderful, great, supportive and quite encouraging, I can’t pay them for such huge loyalty but remain grateful to them” he said.

He appeal to the people to ensure they use the opportunity presented by the elections umpire, INEC to register in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration nationwide.

He admonished his supporters to remain peaceful and ensure the victory of PDP in forthcoming elections starting with the Local Government Polls in the State.

“I call on my supporters to remain peaceful, accommodating and committed toward nation building”

“I see the PDP emerging victorious and a better State and nation in the future” he concluded.
