Member representing Jos South/Jos East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Bitrus Kaze,  has joined in condemning the renewed terrorists’ attacks on communities in Plateau State, reiterating the call for the establishment of State Police, which he described as “imperative for intelligence gathering”.

In a press statement, Kaze said “these dark years of terrorism, even on military installations, have put to question the capability of the Federal Government-controlled security agencies alone to curb crime. The call for State Police therefore becomes imperative, especially now that the Goodluck Jonathan presidency is staging a National Conference.”

He noted that the State Police will understand better the terrain and topography its community, and the psyche and local sentiments of the community for effective crime control.
