Son of Sen. Jeremiah Useni, Ponfa Useni has survived a car crash around Pankshin local government area of Plateau State while returning from his home town in Langtang LGA 

Our correspondent gathered that Ponfa had represented his father at a coronation ceremony in Ibbi local government area of Taraba State on Saturday and had to cut short his journey from Ibbi to Jos, he had spent the night in Langtang.

A close member of the family told our correspondent that Ponfa who sustained injuries had left Langtang on Sunday for Jos but was involved in an accident around Pankshin LGA. 

When contacted, the Media Aid to the Senator, Abubakar Ateeku Yusuf confirmed the accident but said Ponfa was recuperating in an undisclosed hospital in Jos.
