Senator-Elect, Rep. I. D. Gyang Distribute Textbooks to Secondary Schools in Barkin Ladi and Riyom LGAs

The Senator-Elect Plateau North and Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Barr. I. D. Gyang has distributed textbooks to some Secondary Schools in his Constituency to boost education, ensure quality teaching by Teachers and inculcate good reading disposition by Students for a sound and better society.

The Secondary School who benefited from the kind gesture of the Federal Lawmaker are; GSS Gwakim B/Ladi LGA, Islamic Orientation School Barkin Ladi LGA, Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) Comprehensive Secondary School Kwi Riyom LGA & Destiny College Rabwak B/Ladi LGA all in Plateau State.

The Lawmaker said he will do more in terms of education to impact the people positively.

As Member House of Representatives, Barr. I. D. Gyang has been able to construct Secondary and Primary Schools and awarded scholarship to over 350 undergraduate and postgraduate Students.

Receiving the books, the Principals of the mentioned schools appreciated the Lawmaker for assisting them with materials needed for sound and quality education. They commended him for keying into education which they said is the key to unlocking the potentials in the society and for transformation.

They said he has demonstrated his passion and drive for qualitative education for positive impact, societal development and value addition.
