Senator Dariye Sympathizes With Rev. Jolly Nyame Over Demise of His Mother

Former Plateau State Governor, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye, has commiserated with the first Civilian Governor of Taraba State, Reverend Jolly Nyame, over the demise of his mother, Mama Jummai Eli Nyame who passed away peacefully on Saturday, 28 September 2027.

Senator Dariye, who expressed grief and sadness over the passing away of Mama Jummai , described her death as a great loss not only to her immediate family, but also to Taraba State and Nigeria at large. He noted that the late Mama Jummai Eli Nyame, who was a mother, grand mother and a devoted Christian, rendered selfless service to her community which will be cherished by generations yet unborn.

The former Governor pointed out that the deceased left behind a legacy of love, strength, commitment, courage and grace which touched many lives.Senator Dariye recalled, with nostalgia, her nurturing spirit and unwavering faith in God which were described as beacons of hope and guidance to all.

“She was a pillar of strength in the community and her absence will be greatly missed by many”, Senator Dariye observed.

“The virtues she exhibited during her lifetime can be seen in one of her children, Reverend Jolly Nyame, whose strength of character and an abiding faith in God are worthy of emulation”, he stated.

The former Governor prayed God to grant his former Colleague Rev. Jolly Nyame, the immediate Family, Relatives, loved ones, the People of Taraba State and Nigeria at large the fortitude to bear the loss of a great Matriarch who he said contributed immensely to Nation building.
