The All Progressives Congress (APC) Bokkos LGA flagged off its Chairmanship campaign for the October 9, 2024 Zone A rally which witnessed an unprecedented mammoth crowd, as Chief Joshua Dariye, former Governor of Plateau State, assured the party of victory in the forthcoming elections.
Hon. Samuel Damla, Director General of the Campaign Council, expressed delight at Dariye’s presence, stating that it signifies victory for the APC. “All political gladiators from Bokkos with credibility are offshoots of Dariye,” Damla emphasized. The APC has presented a clean and credible candidate, Francis Mangai, who embodies the party’s vision for the people.
Danjuma Mabas, Chairman of the APC in Bokkos LGA, urged party members to mobilize and defend their votes at the polling units.
“Every youth and member of the APC is a mobilizer in his or her polling unit,” Mabas stressed.
The rally was attended by notable figures who delivered goodwill messages in support of the party include Leader of Bokkos Legislative Council, Women Leader of Bokkos APC, Baba James Akims, Hon. Useni Amurudu, Senator Diket Plang and many others.
Chief Joshua Dariye praised the APC as a vehicle for positive change in Bokkos, with Francis Mangai at the helm.
“Bokkos citizens should vote for the APC on election day, as their votes will count,” Dariye encouraged.
The National Leader and elder statesman gave a marching order of “Operation Deliver your polling unit” to the delight of party faithfuls. Going by the success of the flag off and the unity of stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, the party is poised to emerge winner in the LGA polls with citizens of Bokkos assuring of their support as pay back for the development strides the LGA witnessed under Chief Joshua Dariye when he was Governor of the state.
