Former Plateau State Governor and Chairman Campaign Council for the Bokkos All Progressives Congress APC Chairmanship flagbearer in the Wednesday October 9th Plateau State Local Government elections, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye has presented the Flagbearer, Hon. Francis Mangai and his Deputy, Tajan Maleshesh to the Mushere Women and Mushere Traditional Council.
Speaking at the event which also witnessed the presence of most Mushere Title Holders at the Palace of the Miskhakam Mushere in Ikngwakap, Senator Dariye informed the monarch that they were in his Palace to seek for royal blessings. The former governor who was accompanied to the Miskhakam Mushere Palace by some Chieftains of the APC, explained that the candidate of the party have all what it takes to turn the fortunes of Mushere and Bokkos Local Government around if given the opportunity to serve.
He said the APC Flagberaer have the blood of Mushere running in his veins having gotten married to their daughter, solicited for the support of the Traditional institution and the entire Chiefdom to enable him succeed at the Wednesday’s Local Government polls.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of Mushere women separately, Senator Joshua Dariye urged them to mobilize their colleagues to come out en mass to vote massively for the APC candidate who is married to one of their own.
“I brought to you the Candidate of our great party the APC in the Local Government elections, Francis Mangai for your royal blessing. He is part of us and i am very optimistic he will not disappoint us if given the mandate, Dariye stated.
“I believe in the ability of the Chairman and his Deputy to deliver the goods, that’s why I decided to bring them here myself to seek for your royal blessings ahead of the elections which comes up on Wednesday” the former governor remarked.
Responding , the acting Miskhakam Mushere, Pa Mimang Mutkut appreciated the gesture and assured of the traditional Council’s support to any move that will enhance peace and development of Mushere land.
It would be recalled that since his appointment as Chairman of the Bokkos APC Chairmanship Campaign Council, the presence of Senator Joshua Dariye has seen a large turn out of party faithful as well as the receiving of decampees from other political parties.
