The Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly and member representing Jos East state constituency, Rt .Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba has awarded a bursary assistance (scholarship) to four (4) Izere sons and daughters that made ‘First Class Honours’ in different fields of studies to pursue their ‘Masters Degree’ programs without any delay.
Each of them is to receive the sum of #150,000.00 only on Wednesday 4th September, 2019 to that effect. This is to appreciate them for making the Izere nation proud and to encourage others to take their studies serious.

B.Sc Microbiology, First Class Honours
Salem University Lokoja, Kogi state
He hails from Jos Jarawa village of Jos North LGA - Tessy Atong Ajiji
B.Sc Economics, First Class Honours
Kwararafa university Wukari, Taraba state
She hails from Kwanga village of Fursum District, Jos East LGA. - Istifanus Agwom Madaki who made a First Class Honours in Geology and Mining from University of Jos, hails from Nukpang, Fobur District of Jos East LGA and is already enjoying a scholarship of Chinese Government will receive the sum of #50,000.00 only in appreciation for making Izere nation proud.
This program is a continuous one. Any Izere son and daughter that makes a First Class Honours in his First Degree program between now and 2023 automatically qualifies and shall benefits from the gesture of Mr Speaker.
Suffices to say that the template of intervention for other programs and palliative measures aim at empowering our constituents (especially youth and women) will soon be unveiled as modalities of fairness, justice and inclusiveness are still being considered.
