Abuja – Legislative efforts to establish a specialised Federal University of Agriculture in Plateau State Tuesday received a boost in the House of Representatives.

This followed the passing through second reading of the Bill for an Act to establish the Federal University Of Agriculture, Sabon Gida, Langtang, to make a comprehensive provisions for its due management and administration and for other related matters, sponsored by Hon. Beni Lar (PDP, Plateau).

Recall that the Buhari administration had proposed 15 universities of agriculture to be establish across the six geo political zones of the country.
