The Member Federal House of Representatives representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon, PhD has bagged an Award of Excellence as an “Epitome of Reliable Leadership” by the All Northern Nigeria Students Association (ANNSASS).

The group through its Leader, Cmr. Muh’d Noma said the award was given to him in recognition of his selfless service to humanity, dedication and diligence in service in various sectors of his pursuits which they said it’s adding immense value to their collective quest.

They commended him for his commitment to youth empowerment and holistic human capital development which they said is worthy of emulation.

They appreciated him for initiating the Peace & Unity Soccer Tournament which has united the people, discovery of talents, reducing crime rates and social vices.

His exemplary leadership applauded, they admonished him to continue dispensing quality leadership.

Rep. Simon Mwadkwon, PhD appreciated them for the award, for finding him worthy and dedicated the award to God.

Rep. Mwadkwon said the award will spur him to do better and more in terms of human capital development.

He said as a Lawmaker, he will continue to partner with youths across the nation who are ready to add value to national peace, unity and development.

He promised to stand & work with the youths describing them as persons with enormous potentials and contributing immensely to nation building.

He admonished them to be good Ambassadors of the nation, remain patriotic, demonstrate resilience as well as live godly, decent & responsible lives.

He urged them not to allow themselves to be used by greedy and selfish politicians for their parochial and unpatriotic interests.

He said his Soccer Tournament brought former National Footballers such as Peter Rufai, Emmanuel Babayaro, Garba Lawal, Victor Agali, Christopher Justice, Sambo Choji, Yusuf Mangut and lots of others who are already interested in some of the players. He said this will help the youths in developing their career in football and live a fulfilled life devoid of crime.

He promised to continue to support meaningful ideas from youths and make laws that will benefit the youths.

The event took Place at Riyom Mini Stadium, Riyom LGA Plateau State during the 2019 Peace & Unity Soccer Tournament organized by the Federal Lawmaker, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon, PhD.
