Rep. Komsol Sponsors 3 Bills; Bills for Establishment Of Fed. Poly Shendam, FMC & Fed. Uni. Agric

The Member representing Mikang/Qua’anpan/Shendam Federal Constituency, Rep. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap today sponsored 3 Bill in the National Assembly.

The Bills if passed into law will generate employment opportunities, address the health needs of the citizens and increase economic activities in the areas and beyond.

The Bills were presented on the floor of the House by the honorable Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila during today’s plenary proceedings.

The Bills which have been approved for consideration to first reading include:

  1. Federal Polytechnic Shendam, Plateau State (Establishment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 395) (Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap) – First Reading.
  2. Federal Medical Centre, Piapung, Plateau State (Establishment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 396) (Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap) – First Reading.
  3. Federal University of Agriculture Namu, Plateau State (Establishment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 397) (Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap) – First Reading.

After leading the opening prayer, the Speaker went on to examine and approve the votes and proceedings for Thursday, October 10th, 2019

The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila welcomed Honourable members back to plenary and commended them on the budget defense process which is being speedily, but professionally carried out. He also congratulated Hon. Sam Onuigbo on his recent election into the board of the Global International, he urged Hon. Onuigbo to ensure his tenure positively impacts on the functions of the House of Representatives.
