Gyang was, from the womb, ordained a blessing to his fatherland and generation hence displaying a large hearted in serving humanity beyond the entrapment and limitation of ethnicity nor religion.
“Posterity will record and accord you accolades for your strategic contributions to human capacity development in awarding scholarships to over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate students in Tertiary Institutions and the aggressive advocacy you undertook in Peace building and peaceful coexistence, he said.
A Certificate of endorsement was given to Rep Gyang by the NANS Zone ‘C’ with a pledge of 11,000 votes from Students across the 10 tertiary institutions in Plateau North towards his victory at the polls come February 2018.

He stated that he was further challenged to ensure that he models integrity, patriotism and excellence in service to the nation to provide a basis for mentorship for the students.
Rep Gyang recalled that he had been associated with students for long dating back to his days as Director and Permanent Secretary in the Plateau State Civil Service where he related closely with the students and youths. This, he believes, will go a long way in upgrading learning facilities and education infrastructure in our schools and also address the incessant strikes by ASUU, a development that has impeded academics in our Universities.
He called for the speedy resolution of current ASUU strike by the Federal Government to ensure that University students return to normal academic work.
