10th April, 2019
On their courtesy visit to Hon. Dachung Bagos, on 4th/April/2019, some community and church leaders in Twanchik community of Jos South local government area had appealed to the member-elect to come to their rescue and restore their major sources of water supply by repairing the two spoiled boreholes in the community.
The two boreholes were projects done by Hon. Bitrus Kaze and ITF Intervention Projects, respectively.
One of the boreholes had stopped working for almost 3 years, while the other for almost a year.
Seeing the urgency of the request and the hardship the people were going through, Bagos, who is known for such kind gestures sent in engineers yesterday, to restore the boreholes and make them function properly.
Barr. Tale, the community development leader of Twanchik village while speaking to our team, expressed his happiness over the repairs and prayed that God will continue to bless Hon. Bagos for hakening to their cry. He also added, “I’m sure the entire community will be very happy. By the time they get back later in the evening, they’ll be clapping for joy”.
Other residents there present also expressed their joy and gratitude as their problem of water shortage was being solved again.
