The Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon PhD, has again presented three more bills on the floor of the House of Representatives Chambers, at the National Assembly Abuja-Nigeria. The bills which have passed first reading are namely;

  1. National centre for Agricultural Mechanisation act (amendment) bill 2019 (HB.92)
  2. National Mathematical center act (amendment) bill 2019 (HB.93)
  3. Trade Malpractices act (Amendment) bill (HB.9 6)

You will recall that the scholarly lawmaker had earlier presented 9 bills from the inception of the ninth Assembly, bringing the tally of his bills to twelve (12).

Aware of the agrarianism of his roots, the lawmaker believes in the pride of agro productivity hence the need to amend the Agricultural Mechanisation act. If passed into law, the bill intends to guarantee simplified access to Mechanisation farm tools especially to his constituents of Barkin Ladi Riyom, Plateau state, the north central and the rest of the country with Agricultural potential. It will address peasantry in Agricultural practice.

Hon Simon Mwadkwon PhD says he remains grateful to God, his teaming supporters and people of his Constituency for the opportunity accorded him to serve humanity as a Parliamentarian again at the National Assembly, the mandate he said he will not disappoint.
