Rep. Barr. I. D. Gyang Sets to Disburse Scholarship to 250 Undergraduate & Postgraduate Students, Holds Constituency Briefing

All is now set as the member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Barr. I. D. Gyang takes step towards building and improving the human resources of students in his Constituency.

Rep. I. D. Gyang is set to disburse scholarship to 250 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Rep. I. D. Gyang said this gesture is aimed at encouraging and enhancing education.

He said it is a way of giving back to the society and fulfilling one of his campaign promises to the people which is human capital development.

Team Leader of the Scholarship Award Screening, Cmr. Friday Bako said the award is geared towards meeting the education needs of the people.
Education remains critical to socioeconomic development and pillar of the society. Rep. I. D. Gyang knows the significant of education, hence the award of the Scholarship to encourage students to be empowered, developed and improved so as to be useful to themselves and the society at large.

Beneficiaries were drawn across all the 37 Wards of Barkin Ladi and Riyom LGAs. I remain grateful that Barr. I. D. Gyang is reaching out to my Constituency, the youth with this strategic and critical capacity building which to me is commendable, i congratulate all beneficiaries and urge them to be serious in their academic pursuit, he concluded.

There would be constituency briefing, as the member marks his 3 years of people-oriented leadership to tell the people what God had has enable him do, what he is doing and his pipeline projects.

REP ID GYANG STUDENT EDUCATION ENHANCEMENT & SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AND CONSTITUENCY BRIEFING.

In furtherance of his  Student Education Enhancement, Promotion of Academic Excellence and Human Resource Development, Rep ID Gyang has shortlisted 250 undergraduate and postgraduate students in his constituency for scholarship awards.

The Award Presentation is scheduled as follows;
-DATE: Saturday 26th May 2018
-VENUE: Gwol Motel, Barikin Ladi
-TIME: 10:00 am.

The event will double as a Constituency Briefing Session to mark three (3) years of result-oriented representation by Rep ID Gyang in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.
