Rep. Bagos, Engr. Maren Visits Family of Jennifer Samuel, Plateau Medical Aid Worker Abducted by Boko Haram

Member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency Plateau State, Rep. Dachung Musa Bagos and Rep. Engr. Solomon Bulus Maren visited the family of the Medical Aid Worker from Plateau State, Miss Jennifer Ukambong Samuel who was abducted by the dreaded Boko Haram in Borno State.

The Lawmakers promised to do everything within their powers to ensure Miss Jennifer is released and reunited to her family.

They said the abduction is inhuman and wicked calling on the Federal Government and security agencies to work towards ensuring the timely release the Abducted Aid Worker and many others.

They said they are networking with friends & colleagues both locally and internationally to ensure she is released unhurt.

The Lawmakers decried poor security management in the nation and the vulnerability of citizens to the insurgents.

They called for a change of strategy and the need to embrace modern technology if the nation must succeed in the war against the insecurity bedeviling the Nation.

Mother to mother to Miss Jennifer, Mrs. Naomi Samuel told the lawmakers that her hope has been renewed by their visit and commitments toward the rescue of her daughter.

Mr. Mark Dankwap, the leader of the Gura-topp community where Jennifer’s family house is located equally praised the lawmakers for defying the difficult terrains in the community to identify with the family.

Hon. Bagos under whose constituency the community is however requested for a list of problems faced for necessary action.

He specifically in company of his Mangu-Bokkos counterpart, Hon. Maren inspected road networks, and a stream requiring a bridge in the community.
