Rep. Bagos Commends Two Heroic Humanitarians for Fixing Faulty Ventilators at No Cost

Dachung Bagos, Member Presenting Jos South/Jos East has commended Engineers William Gyang and Nura Jibril for their selfless act of service towards the fight against the novel Coronavirus.

In the letter of commendation, Hon. Bagos praised the duo for voluntarily fixing broken down ventilators at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital (JUTH), thereby increasing the institution’s ability to effectively fight the virus, which has been declared a Pandemic.

This development came up after the Plateau State Governor, His Excellency, Simon Bako Lalong paid an assessment visit to the hospital in preparation for the state’s preparations against COVID-19.
During the visit, Chief Medical Director, Professor Edmond Banwat made known the bad state of some of the ventilators in the hospital.

The presentation of the commendation letter was made by the Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the office of the honorable member, Langs Pwajok at the Plateau Radio Television Corporation (PRTVC) Rayfield studio, where William Gyang works.

The Director of Engineering Department of the station, Yakubu Ashoms, praised the honorable member for finding it worthy to honour the duo.
