A Frontline House of Representative Aspirants of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency and a Public Health Expert, Dr. Chomo Datiyi has disclosed that he is in the race to afford the people the opportunity to feel the impact of quality representation and to attract massive infrastructural development to the Federal Constituency if given the mandate.
He also assured the Constituents of initiating people-oriented projects which are geared towards affecting the lives of the people across the Constituency positively.

He described as untrue and misleading the news that he has discontinued his ambition and stepped down for another Aspirant. He said he is strongly in the race to win in order to ensure the people have a feel of the needed leadership that has eluded them.

Our attention has been drawn to a fake and False news going round that our  choice in the House of Representatives elections for Jos South / Jos East  Federal Constituency Dr Chomo Datiyi  has stepped down his Aspiration  and will support Dachung Musa Bagos.

This news is not true and can never be true because at no time have we ever sat down with the current member to discuss such issues.

We advise that the member, who represents Jos South/ Jos East Federal Constituency and his supporters should avoid spreading such rumours and concentrate on his legislative duties which is not encouraging.

At a time like this,  our dear Constituency is  Yearning for a competent  and good Representative, who will unite the people  and give them  a sense  of inclusive representation in the National Assembly and Dr Chomo Datiyi fits that bill.

Dr Datiyi is a medical Expert who has dedicated his life to the service of humanity and has accepted  to rescue and give his people a voice in the National Assembly come 2023.

It is rather unfortunate that the people and the party in the Constituency  is more disunited than ever before and we believe  the member is not doing enough to address this situation and it is even stated in some quarters that he is behind it.

The PDP family in Jos south was one and united family before voting him to power in 2019, but the party have witnessed no Peace since Bagos won election.

Dr Chomo Datiyi who is from Turu federal ward of Vwang District is a major opponent of Bagos who together with Hon Ezekiel Dalyop Badung  are both from Vwang Federal ward of same Vwang District.

The three Aspirants who all have been screened and are all eligibile to contest the primary election are all from Vwang District and  none have agreed to step down his ambition contrary to what some few Stakeholders from Vwang whom Bagos has been bankrolling all this years have been going round telling people  that Vwang District has Endorsed one person in person of Bagos.

Dr Chomo Datiyi has  galvanised support across all District in Jos South  and Jos East LGA and  is fully ready  for the PDP Ticket after been  screened and his clearance certificate issued by our great party,  the PDP. 

He is a servant leader who is ready to bridge the gap between his constituents and their Representative and is dedicated to serve his people.

We also want to use this opportunity to call on our delegates across the Constituency not  to allow themselves to be victims  of 3,000 naira some disgruntled and desperate people  are going  round all Districts  in the name of campaigning for someone who has abandoned them for years.

This same people that have abandoned you all this years have  just started going round  because election is a week  away,  they are now following you to your houses to beg for your support,  promising you heaven on earth. 

May you all use your conscience to salvage our generation and the generation of our children and children unborn.

As we go out to vote in the primary election,  may we all represent our people and elect leaders that will not betray us.

Power belongs to God and may he bring  us leaders that  will represent us well.

We want to reiterate once more that Dr Datiyi  has not stepped down for any one and he  will not because  we know he  will pick the ticket and eventually win the election which is evident by the large support he is getting.
