The Divine Mandate Scholarship Scheme (DMSS) Committee today commenced the disbursement of funds to: (60) Masters and PhD (19) candidates at the Legislative Chambers, Council Secretariat Ba’ap.
The Executive Chairman, Hon. Isaac Kyale Kwallu FCIA, FCIPMA, admonished them to make judicious use of the funds.
Acompanied by his Cabinet, Hon. Kwallu reiterated his administration’s resolve to prioritize human capital development to create opportunities, stimulate growth and entrench sustainable shared prosperity.
He pledged to ensure at least ten (10) indigenes study abroad on Scholarship before the end of his administration.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke, thanked the Divine Mandate administration for the support, stating it is the first of it’s kind.
They challenged themselves to give back to the locality after their studies.
They described the Executive Chairman as a ‘God sent’ who has no sentiments of tribe, ethnicity, religion or politics in the discharge of governance.
