The Executive Chairman of Qua’an-Pan LGC of Plateau State, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a , has commended the Qua’an-Pan Traditional Council and their neighbouring counterparts for the role they have been playing in the relative peace and unity being witnessed, calling for synergy with other stakeholders.

Hon. Da’a stated this in his remark at the official coronation of the 14th Long Doemak (District Head) of Doemak, Miskagam Cosmos Ndelong Dakyap, which was preceded by the conclusion of the 10 Years Traditional Funeral Rites (MAAP) of the 13th Long Doemak (1983-2013), Miskagam Richard Lapang.

“I must say that the local government have found love, commitment and sincerity of purpose in the entire traditional Council of Qua’an-Pan LGA. Our Royal fathers have been instrumental in shaping our communities towards a united and peaceful LGA. I must also acknowledge the collaborative efforts of their neighbouring counterparts.”

“This event is very significant to Doemak District and indeed Qua’an Pan Local Government, as it will pave way for the full involvement of the Doemak Traditional Council in contributing it’s quota towards shaping the paths of its people to the cultural and socioeconomic advancement of the Local Government Area and Plateau State in general,” Hon. Da’a said.

The Council Chairman, while congratulating the Long Doemak and the entire District, prayed that the tenure of HRH Miskagam Cosmos Ndelong Dakyap (JP) fosters peace, unity and prosperity in the District and the entire LGA.

The Executive Chairman earlier acknowledged all the dignitaries at the event, especially, His Excellency the Governor of Plateau State and APC Flag Bearer for Plateau Southern Senatorial Zone, the Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong KSGG, who was represented by the Former Chief of Staff to the Governor and APC Flag Bearer for Qua’an-Pan, Shendam, Mikang Federal Constituency, Chief John M. Dafaan.

Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, was in company of his Deputy, Hon. Helen Henniet Wapmuk, Council Secretary, Hon. Gideon Godenaan Dashe and cabinet members of the QP Project Administration at the event, which was also graced by top Government functionaries, Traditional Rulers and distinguished guests from all walks of life.
