Qua’an-Pan Council Boss, Hon. Ernest Da’a Bids Farewell to retiring Officers, Urges Staff to Develop Their Capacity

The Executive Chairman Qua’an-Pan LGC, Hon. Ernest A. Da’a has challenged the Staff of the council to develop their capacity towards adequate and sustainable service delivery.
Hon. Ernest A. Da’a made the appeal at the Farewell  Session in honour of the Director Personnel Management, Alhaji Isiaka Inuwa DanAnacha, Director of Works, Engr. Simon Zachariah Mapis and the Head of Information, Mr. Zakari Gonto, who are bowing out of service.


“We are in a Knowledge Revolution Economy. If you have the opportunity, further your education, study well, be ready to learn and translate the knowledge into viable economic venture. Failure to meet up with trend of the Technical-Know-How, the Revolution will reel you out”
The Executive Chairman who earlier thanked and commended the Technocrats for their expertise, disclosed that he has enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with the retiring officers and all other staff. He encouraged them to continue in that light.


In his remark, the President, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Plateau State, Mr. Arandong Makwin, represented by the Vice President, Mr. Simput Hosea, admonished civil servants to plan for retirement, as life after service is not a bed of roses.


He commended the Executive Chairman and the Tripartite Union (NULGE, MHWUN, NANMN) of Qua’an-Pan LGC, for the solidarity and unity.
The NULGE Chairman Qua’an-Pan Chapter, Comr. Obadiah Dajan, representatives of MHWUN and NANMN, including the serving directors, in their separate goodwill messages, showered accolades and wishes on the retiring officers, praying that their lives after service be filled with good tidings.


The retiring Officers, who took turns to talk, expressed gratitude to God and government at all levels for the opportunity to serve, urging the staff to consider team work, a watch word.
They asked for pardon and understanding, if in the course of discharging their duties they might have stepped on each other’s toes.
The event, which was the first of it’s, kind was characterised by prayers, brief citation of the retirees and recitation of the Union Anthem.
