PYC Seeks Partnership With Plateau SUBEB on Better Ways to Improve Basic Education Delivery

The umbrella body of the Youth and the apex Youth Organization in Plateau State, the Plateau Youth Council (PYC) has visited the Chairman and Management of the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (PLSUBEB) to seek partnership to improve Basic Education delivery in the State.

Chairman of PYC, Cmr. Lot Adas who was flanked by Members of the Executive Council were at the Headquarters of the Board to discuss better ways of synergy.

Cmr. Lot Adas hinted that PYC has interest in the concerns of the Youths in the State especially in the aspect of quality education which has significant impact in the lives of the youths, the citizens, State and Nation at large.
He said the Youth Group is aware of the mandate of the Board and will partner with it to see to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He appraised the provision of basic education by the board and stressed that council will be glad to partner with the board to ensure that greater things are achieved.

In his remarks, Chairman of the Board, Prof. Matthew Sule who was flanked by other top management Officials of the Board appreciated the PYC for the visit, congratulated them for their emergence and inauguration as leaders of the youth group.
He challenged the leadership to deliver on its mandate and ensure that the Youths are properly sensitized and oriented to contribute meaningfully to nation building.

He welcomed the partnership idea of the council and stressed that the board will be glad and available to partner with the Youth Council to provide basic education and by extension, explore ways through which the Youths will be engaged meaningfully.
