The Headquarters 3 Division Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that a Field Training Exercise is scheduled to take place on Saturday 11th January, 2025 at the 3 Division Small Arms Firing Range located in Miango, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 3 Division Nigerian Army, Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja hinted that the exercise will involve the utilization of live ammunition within the designated range area.
In light of the above, the Headquarters is strongly advising members of the public, particularly those residing in Miango town, to maintain a safe distance from the exercise area. It is also important for residents to remain calm and not to panic upon hearing the sounds of live firing during this period, as these sounds are part of the scheduled training exercise.
He hinted that the 3 Division Nigerian Army is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the surrounding communities.
