Honorable Barji David Bitrus a Transformational leader and a youthful youth who his ebullience and track records speaks volume.
Barji David Bitrus well known as BDB is a native of Ngas, hails from Plateau State, Nigeria.
From a humble background, he grew up in a family of love and faith; and indeed the origin of his good personality started there.
He is a man of hardwork and a self-motivated individual that got himself through to university to obtain a Bsc Degree in Accountancy, after completing his secondary education at Gonerit Memorial College Tuwan Kabir, in Kanke Local Government of Plateau State.
In his quest for further education he also studied and obtained a Masters in Organizational Leadership at the ECWA Seminary Igbaja, and currently a PhD student of Pan-African University Kenya Majoring in Organizational Leadership.
David Barji is married to Sarah David Bitrus, the marriage is blessed with three children: Arrit Jesse David, Arbat Rex David and Ar’Khinen Tabitha David.
David Barji has risen to be a senior aide to Senator Abu Ibrahim (Senior Ranking Senator – who Representing Katsina State).
His work with Senator Abu Ibrahim started 17 years ago as member of his security staff, his dedication to service saw him through to become the secretary and a trusted confidant to the Senator.
David Barji is also an entrepreneur who in his little way gives back to the society, he mentors and build people in business and community development, through the period of growth and acceleration.
David is well travelled around the world, for official reasons and personal development.
He is a community activist who supports young people to attain their potentials through school education, employment opportunities in private and public sectors.
He leverages his network to support diversity and inclusion in federal appointments, religious bodies support and youth development programmes.
David Barji continues to be a likeable individual, whose passion, patriotism, love for purposeful service, leadership and excellence reflects his nature and character.
He demonstrated this in 2019 by participating in general elections that year as a candidate for House of Representatives seat to represents his people of Pankshin,Kanke and Kanam with the Slogan Face of Hope.
David Barji is an unassuming young man with a clear vision of Rebuilding Trust in our Nigerian state, he believes every community has natural leaders, whether they have stepped up or have been volunteered by others in the community.
He believes in an inclusive political space for credible youth to participate in policy making.
Youths are agent of jet age development and as such their recognition and participation is crucial in sustainable peace building in our communities and leadership succession.
As a man of Integrity and an unquestionable character ,David runs the Barji Hope Foundation (BHF) as a platform to provide interventions to his local community and society in General .
To mention some, Barji Hope Foundation (BHF) interventions include
• Palliative Support to over 3000 Households during the COVID 19 scourge
• Job Opportunity for over 20 Youth in the Constituency
• Educational and school support for students school fees, educational materials, and school rehabilitation
• Provision of empowerment and startup grant to women and youth in several communities.
These humanitarian efforts have been recognised and appreciated within and beyond his constituency and Plateau State as a whole.

He has a love for church work , and has been so supportive in donations in churches for mission work and Church building.
Since Honourable Barji contested election in 2019 ,he has been so supportive to his campaign coordinators, he ensured they have Christmas packages, sallah packages during festivities Period.
He is an astute leader with good heart, this has been seen through his interventions in sponsoring indigents students, given scholarship to students in Plateau state.
Hon. Barji has flag off the renovation of the dilapidated library in Pankshin which was built during Military Regime of Cp JD Gomwalk and has no government attention . For the love of Education and future of the younger ones, Hon Barji has flag off the renovation and plan to upgrade it to e-library which work has commence . Through His Barji Hope foundation.
