Plateau Youth activist Comrade Pius Hoomen on Sunday described the wife of Governor Simon Lalong ,Mrs Regina Lalong as a symbol of humility and a detribalised Nigerian.

Hoomen in a felicitation message on the occasion of Mrs Lalong,s birthday, said her strong support for the husband, the governor of Plateau State, Barrister Simon Lalong , has manifested in the giant strides recorded across major sectors in the state.

He said as a humble and compassionate mother who combines decency and commitment to excellence in personal and public life, she has been able to warm her way into the hearts of residents of Plateau .

Hoomen also described Mrs Regina Lalong as a role model and shining star .

“Mrs. Lalong is a detribalised Nigerian who has traversed the length and breadth of the state, helping less privileged people, seeking the emancipation of women and the youths through her pet project.

Her undying love for the downtrodden, the deprived and the ordinary folks across the state is widely acknowledged, while her unflinching backing for Governor Lalong ,s administration has helped tremendously in the fulfillment of its electioneering promises to Plateau citizens .

The statement further reads that Happy birthday to your excellency our first lady of Plateau state .

“As a compassionate mother who combines decency and commitment to excellence, she has been able to worm her way into the hearts of the people through her charitable gestures.

“Her love for the downtrodden, the deprived across the state is widely acknowledged. Her unwavering support for Governor Lalong has assured many that with her as First Lady, the Governor’s efforts will be well complemented”.

Hoomen prayed God Almighty to grant her sound health, wisdom and strength to continue to provide mentoring for the betterment of Plateau State.
