Plateau Youth Activist Hoomen, Nagelu Hails Lalong’s Emergence as Chair of Northern Governors’ Forum

Plateau Youth activist Pius Hoomen and an All Progressive Congress APC chieftain in the state Alhaji Nagelu Garba, on Friday both congratulated the State Governor, Simon Lalong for his election as chairman of the Northern Governors Forum for another four years.

Our correspondent reports that Lalong was elected by his colleagues during the meeting of the Northern Governors Forum which held in Kaduna on Friday.

Hoomen and Alhaji Nagelu in a statement issued in Jos reads ” we congratulate the Governor of Plateau State, Governor Simon Lalong on his emergence as Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum.

The statement reads that Lalong,s emergence is an indication of the confidence reposed on him by his colleagues and the people of his zone.

“With the result-oriented way you have governed Plateau State in the past four years, your ability to provide effective leadership for your colleagues, project issues concerning the zone and rally your people for regional and national development is not in doubt.

Lalong,s ability to contain the many security challenges and the sophistry of handling contentious security challenges has earned him the respect of his colleagues in the 19 northern state which as resulted in his emergence to this exalted office .
