The Task Force on the Recovery of Purported Auctioned Government Property in Plateau State constituted by the Executive Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has commence work in earnest calling on the Citizens of the State to accord them the needed support in order to achieve its mandate.
The Committee also assured the Citizens that its work as contained in the terms of reference is not in anyway at variance with the Governor’s pronouncement that his administration is not out to witch-hunt anyone or any organization, but done in good faith to engender appropriate protocols of accountability for the overall interest of the citizens of the State.

The Committee in strict compliance with the terms of reference is requesting the general public to comprehend how vital its assignment is and assist it by volunteering information on individuals/organizations in possession of government property, moveable or immoveable and also want individuals/organizations in custody of government property, moveable or immoveable to furnish it with such information as well as provide evidence of boarding such property for proper valuation and documentation.

These were contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the Committee, Barr. Pam Gyang Davou who asked those in possession of boarded or auctioned Government Property to stop any form of development on such property pending the completion of this exercise.
“Please be assured again that this exercise is for the benefit of the Allotees in particular and the State at large” he hinted.
