Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau has assured President Goodluck Jonathan that the state will deliver 1.8 million votes to him.

Jang who was speaking at a town hall meeting in Shendam Local Government Area (LGA) of the state said the state will support Jonathan based on his achievements in the state and country at large.

He said that the Government house in Rayfield will still be occupied by the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) come May 29th just as President Jonathan will remain in Aso Rock Abuja.

The Governor called on people of the state and women in particular to ensure that their husbands follow them to the voting centres.

Jang thank the people of the state for supporting and electing PDP since the return to democracy in 1999 and added that the All Progressive Congress (APC) was an emergency party that will fizzle away after the general elections.
