Gov Lalong to commission mobile police force squadron in plateau state.

In a  renewed drive towards strengthening the security architecture of the State,the Governor of Plateau State, Hon. Simon Lalong in company of the inspectors general of Police , Ibrahim Idris, will make presentation of security vehicles to some agencies in the state.

According to Hon Yakubu Datti, the Plateau State Commissioner of Information, the Governor will also perform the ground-breaking ceremony of the newly established Mobile Police Force Squadron in Shendam.

The occassion will take place on Wednesday, 21 March, 2018 at Longvel, Shendam LGA by 11 am.

It could be recalled that following the killings in the state Plateau State Government give a marching order to the security  agents in the state to immediately arrest and prosecute the criminals that perpetrated the killings  of persons in Bassa and Bokkos Local Government Areas of the state.

Also In its efforts to stem the tide of attacks in Plateau state, Governor Simon Lalong has  purchased 53 security vehicles

 Lalong said that purchasing the vehicles was aimed at complimenting the efforts of security agencies

The vehicles will be distributed to all the 17 local government areas in the state
