Mr Pam Dongs, the Plateau Commissioner for Works and Transport, says the state government has embarked on the construction of 16 rural roads to boost accessibility.
The commissioner disclosed this on Wednesday in Jos when he led other staff of the ministry to defend the 2018 budget before the House of Assembly Committee on Works and Transport.
He said the project tagged, “Rural Accessibility Project, ’’ was aimed at changing the face of the state from its rural outlook.

- Construction of Mararaban Demshin-Demshin-Shimankar road with spur to Shargang-Angwan Rina-Angwan Dadi – Kalong – Nyak road
- Rehabilitation of Dokan Tofa – Ba’ap – Kurgwi road with spurs to Lardang – Bwal Kwoor and Tim
- Construction of Tenzet – Tunkus (Shendam by-pass) road
- Construction of Wase – Kardarko – Dadin Kowa road
- Construction of Dengi – Bashar – Gajin Bashar road
- Construction of Dengi – Kwalmiya – Dugub – Gagdi road
- Construction of Dawaki – Gyanggyang – Seri – Amper Road
- Construction of Lankan – Dyis – Kagu – Sihin Road
- Construction of Mangu by-pass road
- Construction of Kuba – Tenti – Muanga – Daffo road
- Construction of Kpaso – Chakarum – Kogom – Vwang road with spur at Vom Vet
- Construction of Bet – Lobiring – Dorowa – Mazat – Kuba Road with spur to Nding
- Construction of Fobor – Nation – Fursa – Maijuju – Zandi Road
- Construction of Tahoss – Ganawuri road with spur at Dahreng
