With the recent social media outcry on statement accredited  to the governor of plateau state RT. HOn Simon Bako Lalong on the issue of Benue state, a political group with the name vote lalong and Tyoden again (VOLATA) in a statement issued today in jos and jointly sign by the coordinator promise Yatu and the organising secretary have caution the citizens to look at the plateau project rather than politics of hate. The statement Further berates the way the opposition have taking the issue on account to get cheep political gains. Above all the group reiterate their loyalty and commitment to deliver governor Simon Lalong and his deputy Tyoden come 2019.

BEING A PRESS STATEMENT ISSUED THIS DAY, TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY BY THE LEADERSHIP OF VOLATA2019 OVER RECENT ISSUES BOTHERING THE CYBERSPACE AND OTHER SPHERES.

Sequel to recent events that have embossed so much controversies lately within and outside the state as it concerns mutual trust, peace and unity of the country, with respect to the incessant herdsmen militia attacks in mostly parts of the middle belt states of the country, it has become imperative for the leadership of VOLATA2019 to address some of the pertinent concerns that lays bear.

We wish to first and foremost send out our deepest sympathy and affable condolences to the Governor and the peace loving people of Benue State over the cruelsome evil tangled upon them by the herdsmen militia sect, our hearts are indeed heavy and we earnestly mourn with our bereaved brothers and sisters over there.

Our sincere and collective desire is that the perpetrators of this evil would never go unpunished by God and by law.
We wish to draw to public light, the awe-inspiring and solidarity visit of the Plateau State Government delegation to our neighbours in Benue, not minding the probable hostility of routes or civil tension unknown, it goes a great deal to revealing and concretizing the mutual respect and love that has been in existence between both states.

We commend the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Simon Bako Lalong  for thinking in such bright light.

It will be recalled that the Governor of Plateau State, out of his naturally instilled meekness, patriotism and commitment towards promoting peace, has in the interest of unity and oneness apologised over a misconstrued statement accredited to him on the Benue State attacks, these goes further in affirming the Governor’s love for country and value placed on humanity despite all attempts by mischievous misinformation managers to speculate otherwise.
It is unfortunate, that at a time like this when hearts are supposed to be contrite and heads commonsensical for rational reasonings that will bring viable panacea that will bring to an end the activities of this evil men, it is rather deplorable that some have seen it as a window to ventilate and proliferate hate just to score cheap political points; this is indeed sad and barbaric.

We call on all reasonable citizens to be on alert and mindful of desperate politicians who’s interests only seeks to promote bigotry and disunity.

We must unite ourselves in this great time of threatening division, lest we end up in a violent trance unfathomed.

We commend the doggedness of the security agencies in this most trying times and encourage them to spare no one that tries to undermine the unity of this country no matter how highly placed.

We plead with all media outfits, including social and antisocial mediums to take assertive tenderness in information desimination, we do not have the leverage of a divided house as a nation, most especially in this difficult times.

We commend the federal government and the security agencies over the successes recorded in combating other threatening militia sects and encourage them not to live any stone unturned in bringing to an earliest end the activities of this herdsmen menace.

We remain steadfast in our support to the Governor Lalong, Tyoden leadership in Plateau State and pray for more grace upon them as they lead Plateau State into nirvana.
