Plateau Social Media Award Team Give Financial Support to Widow for Business

TEAM PSMA SUPPORTS WIDOW AS PART OF ITS SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TO THE SOCIETY

July 31, 2020

In furtherance of it’s mandate to help and support the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society, the Plateau Social Media Awards Team extended it’s hands of fellowship to a widow, Ladi Obadiah with a palliative of N100,000 to support her business .

The widow is involved in the quarrying of stones to feed her grandchildren who are orphans as both parents are deceased.

Mrs Ladi Obadiah who hails from Mikang local government does her daily business along the Bauchi Ring Road Area where she was identified by the team as one of the so many women who had withered the storm to make ends meet by providing not just for her children’s needs but her grandchildren.

She was the recipient of the special recognition award for hardwork and dedication to duty last year by the Plateau social media Awards team.

A hard-working and dedicated Plateau woman, the support was to spur her to keep on being resilient as the PSMA will always support such initiatives of many women, youths and vulnerable groups in the society.

On ground to present the cash donation was The Convener of the Plateau social Media Awards, Mr Makut Alfred Mashat and Mr Chamdang Bako who is the public relations officer on behalf of the team.

It will be recalled that the Plateau Social Media Awards had it’s second edition of the series of the program and felt it was a worthwhile venture to give back to the community in order to touch the lives of so many people in the society.

The PSMA is still geared towards using the Social Media for social good..
