The Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon, Ph.D has urged beneficiaries of the Federal Government “COVID-19 Response Package” from the Federal Constituency to invest the funds to profitable ventures that will boost their economic wellbeing and provide them with good stream of income.

The “COVID-19 Response Package” targets vulnerable Women and is aimed at cushioning the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Legislator made the call through his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Jackson Dashwei who was flanked by the Personal Assistant to the Lawmaker, Cmr. Solomon Dachung when the duo met the 30 Women who the Member lobbied for to benefit from the special intervention package of N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira Only) each.

The beneficiaries who couldn’t hide their joy appreciated the Member for identifying with them, finding them worthy and making it possible for them to benefit from such financial intervention and promised to put the funds to effective use.

They prayed God to bless the Lawmaker and restore his health so he will continue to provide people-oriented and credible leadership to the people.
