The Candidate of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda today is in Pankshin North and South to engage constituents of the two constituency on his plan for plateau State.

I don’t want to borrow more money, i want to reverse the tide…

The Town Hall meeting is part of the candidate’s series of community engagement across the state. The Town hall meeting is constituted of Market women, hunters, professional bodies, Farmers and community get keepers.

Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, states that top of his priorities is the security and economy of the state. Nentawe promised to amend the operation Rainbow bill to accommodate some peculiarity.

” We shall also create the Security Trust Fund, a pool where we as a state can contribute for the security of our state.”

“I shall also amend the Plateau state minerals laws, because we must profile our miners so as not to keep criminals that will kill our people in the night to mine their resources ” Nentawe added

” I will bring in more Technology, we employ drones, and long range camera’s for security, that will help us secure our community. ”

On the economy, Nentawe, gave the breakdown of IGR of Plateau State which he says its dwindling without the capacity to generate enough that can pay salaries.

“I don’t want to borrow more money, i want to reverse the tide” i will open up the state economy, Amend the solid mineral law, we shall learn from the Ghana…. “

” If you want to empower farmers you dont give them fatilizers, you give them seeds, … I will subsidize seeds for Farmers, the idea is to have multiple outputs.”

on how you can access the funds, Dr Nentawe promised to set aside 10 percent vulnerable Trust fund for people living with disability, women and Youths. ” Our citizens cant be rich and the government will be poor, when we empower our people, we can now build roads and other infrastructure.

Nentawe concludes that he will unite the people of plateau state for prosperity… But also pleads with the people of Pankshin South and North to vote for APC across-the-board
