Plateau PDP Sets Up Reconciliation Committee

PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY,(PDP). PLATEAU STATE CHAPTER, 20/22 YAKUBU GOWN WAY OPP NTA JOS.

28th May 2020.

NEW DECADE NEW DIRECTION.

The Plateau State chapter of our great party has ended the old decade and the new one begins with much desired enthusiasm and hope.

Today, the State Chairman, Hon Gwott Yakubu Chocho with the other members of the caretaker committee inaugurated a seven(7) man reconciliatory committee to foster peace and unity within the party towards a successful decade.

As we continue to pilot the affairs of our party as caretaker committee members our pledge is to be more committed in repositioning, rebranding and reuniting the party towards a successful ideology.

Our sincere desire is to give plateau people hope, a strong hope and desire to form a formidable government with men and women of integrity from our great party PDP for a greater Plateau come 2023.

We call on our loyal and committed party members across the state to remain calm and focused towards rebranding the party for a greater and stronger performance.
Lest we forget we are in opposition, and we must act in that direction by discharging our roles of oversight by checkmating Government policies and activities. It is rather unfortunate that despite our position we have some people who are hellbent on destroying the party just to satisfy their own personal, selfish political gains whose party allegiance is obviously elsewhere.

We call on them to please give us a break and leave PDP alone. As Leaders not necessarily care taker committee we have a responsibility to unite not to divide, to serve not to rule and to give not to take.
As a viable opposition that is now positioned to take over power come 2023,we assure the people that the PDP is now fully prepared to take back our mandate where people’s interest will be protected as the failure of APC is on the increase and PDP remains the only option and choice of our people

We are therefore committed and focused in providing a purposeful and responsible leadership and will not be distracted.”plateau first “

These our representatives have done tremendously well without politicizing their actions. We are proud of you all.
Finally,we call on the government to stand to it’s responsibility of protecting life’s and wellbeing of the people. Unfortunately today this is not happening as expected rather the people are now forced to look up to PDP their only hope. Let’s keep this hope alive
