The PDP Gubernatorial Candidate and Senator representing Plateau Southern Zone, Sen. JT Useni has assured the party faithfuls and those who believe in his aspiration that he will reclaim the mandate accorded him at the Tribunal.

He said the case at the tribunal is an excellent one and assured them he will emerge victorious.

He admonished the party faithfuls and loyalists to remain united.

In the same vein, the Legal Team of the Party at the Tribunal has said the petition is safe and unaffected by the leadership problem confronting the party.

SEN. JT USENI’S GOVERNORSHIP PETITION UNAFFECTED BY CURRENT HAPPENINGS WITHIN PLATEAU PDP.

PDP Plateau governorship candidate Sen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni has expressed confidence that his petition before the election petition tribunal is insulated from the current leadership tussle in the party.

He told local government chairmen of the party that “We need attention and unity to face the issues at the tribunal which offers us the opportunity to recover our mandate. We have a good case at the tribunal. Any division will only increase the suffering of our people who are looking forward to justice being done through the Honourable Justices of the tribunal.”

“We want people to feel free to express their grievances, but we should do so through the right channels and in consultation with one another.”

In the same vein, the PDP Legal Team has assured that the Governorship Election Petition alongside the Legislative Houses petitions are safe from “ongoing rumbling within the Party.”

A statement by the Senior Counsel Barr. Sunny-Gabriel Odey says the cases are firmly before the tribunals, and therefore “shielded from partisanship and factionalisation.”

“All the PDP petitions at the two Election Tribunals are founded on solid grounds as required by the Electoral Act and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (both as amended). So, NO SHAKING !!!”

Barr Odey explains that his team maintains absolute neutrality, undistracted and is also advocating reconciliation and party unity.

“The Lawyers remain focused and committed to professionalism so as to achieve result-oriented outcomes for the benefit of all party men, women and the youths. We shall succeed, by God’s grace, to retrieve Sen. JT Useni’s stolen mandate and return PDP to Government House, Little Rayfield.”
