Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Hon Emmanuel Loman , on Thursday said the party would soon resolve its crisis in the state .

Hon. Loman who was a former chairman of Barkin Ladi Local Government of Plateau state , told our correspondent in Jos that the party would overcome its leadership crisis.

According to him, there is no political party or any association of people without leadership challenges, especially in Nigeria.

“ Every political party including the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has factions and crisis.”

Loman who was also former Plateau State Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria,ALGON said the Senator Representing Plateau North in the National Assembly Barrister Istifanus Gyang is working hard to unite members of the party .

“Senator Gyang has been talking with several stakeholders and i can categorically tell you that the crisis would soon be over .”

Loman further said that the party is confident of winning the Plateau South Senatorial elections .

“PDP is a party to beat, we are working hard to ensure we win the Senatorial elections .”

“What is happening in our party would not last and it will go. The crisis will be over,” he said.

He further declared that there is no iota of doubt that the APC Federal Government has failed Nigerians .

“The All Progressives Congress, APC-led government in the past five years has taken our country backward ”

“The PDP had plans of bettering the lives of citizens of the country ,Ex President Goodluck Jonathan had so many good plans for the country .”

Loman who described the past five years of APC administration as a failure called on them to carry all Nigerians in governance .

He lamented that the APC administration has reversed all the gains achieved by the PDP for which May 29 was always celebrated and left the country dejected.

Loman also called on the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong to complete all critical projects initiated by his predecessor, Jonah Jang.

It could be recalled that a Plateau state high court in Jos, presided over by Justice Kunda, had on wednesday nullified the purpoted list of members of the party brought from Abuja by the Chocho led caretaker committee.

The presiding judge in his ruling said the evidence brought before him prove that there were no LGA Congresses in Jos North LGA.

Among the relief sort by the plantif was to nortify the court on the suspension of all party activities nationwide, which was directed by the National headquarters.

As such no LGA Congresses could have taken place in Jos North among several others.

The judge ordered fresh congresses to be conducted.

Our correspondent who monitored the court session saw both camps of the party led by Hon Chocho and former governorship aspirant, Hon Exodus Penap laying claims to the state caretaker committee of the leadership of the party.
