The Plateau State Chapter of the PDP has applauded its elected Representatives at all levels and said it is optimistic of resounding victory in all cases involving the party at the various Election Tribunals.

PRESS STATEMENT.

The Plateau state Chapter of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Salute’s the courage, resilience, Commitment and indeed Patience of all it’s Members across the state,particularly the elected members.

We Congratulate our Performing legislators both State and National and the executive Chairman elect of lantang north local government (Hon Dr Joshua Laven PhD for the journey so far.

While we join hands together in prayers for a joyful moment for our dear party, we commend the effort and determination of our father,Distinguished Senator J T Useni our gubernatorial candidate and by the Grace of God the incoming Governor for his commitment towards reclaiming people’s mandate, we pray God to give him more wisdom and health as he continue to stand for the people.

We therefore call on all members to remain calm and prayerful. How ever , it is necessary for the people of plateau state to be informed at this point of some facts regarding the government of plateau state under APC

September 7th 2019 exactly 100 days in office after the 2019 governorship election in most of the state across the nation, while other Governors celebrated this occasion with their complete cabinet in place and some identified Projects were commissioned in commemoration of this occasion, our own dear Governor is still in a state of confusion on how and where to start from.

As a party, we are greatly appalled at the level of Lalong’s performance at this time even though we were not expecting any meaningful performance from the governor after wasting four (4) good years doing northing than falsehood and propaganda. It is evident that as at today 8th September 2019 there is no single project that ,has been commissioned or will be commissioning to mark (100) hundred days in office.

This further shows the level of ineffectiveness of governor Lalong in office under APC, we said it before now that there is no way a party that have no democratic norms will be able to deliver dividend of democracy in a democratic set up such as this, today we have been vindicated.

We want to believe that the asymmetrical behavior of APC leaders has clearly define the difficulties they are facing in delivering people’s oriented governance. It is therefore important that in the face of this reality of a failed leadership, we strongly advice the APC to at least reposition it’s party in a democratic manner that will be inherent to the democratic process in line with people’s thinking.

As a responsible party, we believe that there is permissible level of decency in governance which we expected the APC to follow,rather than this continues forceful disastrous maladministration foisted on the people of plateau state.

In so doing, the People’s Democratic party will continue to remain committed to push forth its democratic ideals and purpose to developing the theory and practice of good governance necessary for combating social exploitation and oppression.

As we patiently wait with great hope for the tribunal to deliver its Judgment in all our cases, we pray God to lead us to victory.
