The plateau state chapter of the people’s Democratic party(PDP) Commend the people of Pengana constituency.

The national vice chairman north central, Hon Theophilus Dakas Shan together with the state Executive acknowledged the consciousness and dignity of our critical stakeholders and the entire people of Pengana constituency for believing in the people’s Democratic party during the bye election into the state house of Assembly.

Even though the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The party observed that the total votes scored by both candidates Hon Yakubu Busa Buji of the people’s Democratic party (PDP) and Hon Yakubu Sanda of the All progressive Congress (APC) shows that the people of Pengana and indeed Nigerians have rejected the APC, people are now yearning for a true change of governance in it’s true sense, this is despite the vote buying and intimidation from the APC using the instruments of government but still the people were determined and committed towards their quits for a true change.

It is a thing of immense pride to the party to always identify with the electorates and in particular the people of Pengana constituency as the party beliefs that this spirit of commitment exhibited by the people towards the success of our party has opened a new Chapter towards the progress of our great and only Democratic party.

We therefore assured the people that the people’s Democratic party still remains the only viable option for a better and peoples friendly governance in a Democratic system such as this.

The leadership of the party in the state currently under Hon Dakas Shan is carefully studying the result and other relevant documents of the election for the next action.

With every sense of responsibility and commitment, on- behalf of our BOT members, governorship candidate, members of the national , state Assembly and our critical stakeholders, we deeply appreciates the people of Pengana constituency and all members of our party across the state for your prayers and commitment towards the success of our party even as we are being confronted with the worst Democratic governance in the history of Nigeria as a country,
