The State Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State and former Commissioner for Works, Hon. Chris Adukuchili Hassan has sued for peace and reconciliation in the party while thanking the good people of the State for believing in the party.

He said the leadership of the party under him will set a robust and people-friendly agenda that would reposition the party for greater victory ahead.

He made this known today at the first State Executive Council Meeting he chaired since he was appointed acting Chairman following the affirmation of the suspended dispensed to Hon. Damishi Sango and Hon. Amos Gombi at the Party State Secretariat Yakubu Gowon Way Jos, Plateau State.

Hon. Sango and Nde Gombi were suspended for alleged mismanagement of campaign funds, cornering funds meant for the IDPs and others. An investigation committee has been set up to look into the allegations.

May 2nd 2019.

Today the state acting state chairman of the peoples Democratic party plateau state, Hon Chris Adukuchili Hassan resumes office in that capacity, by presiding over a state executive meeting at the party Secretariat.

Hon Adukuchili express ultimate gratitude to God Almighty for His eternal mercies grace to members of our party for giving him this privilege to lead the party to success. He also appreciates God for making it possible for us to meet today as Exco to discuss way forward .

Adukuchili thank the good people of plateau for still believing in the peoples Democratic party, we will continue as a party to count on your support and commitment.

The state acting chairman has assured the people of plateau state particularly members of the peoples Democratic party that the new leadership of our great party under his leadership has set up a new agenda to reposition the party for victory ahead.

The chairman calls for peace and reconciliation among the members of the party,saying that as part of our new agenda, the party under him will set up a peace, Truth and reconciliation committee to foster unity and harmony in the party as we collectively face our cases in the tribunal with prayers for God’s divine intervention.

Finally the chairman appealed for support from all our leaders, particularly our Governorship candidate Senator J T Useni, our leader Senator Jonah Jang , Ambassador Tapgun ,Sen Mantu , our national assembly and state members.

As the acting chairman together with the entire Members of the EXCO we remain resolute and committed in pursuing all our Election petition cases to victory.
